Who We Are
The Child and Adolescent Division of Psychiatry, together with the Mental Health and Addictions program at the IWK provide quality care to children, youth, and families of the Maritimes. Our programs include crisis, emergency, inpatient, outpatient, and community mental health support.
If you are looking for help with a mental health issue or illness, we encourage you to contact your family physician or paediatrician who can assist you in the referral process.
If you have an emergency or immediate crisis please contact the Mental Health Mobile Crisis team at (902) 429-8167, go to the nearest emergency room, or call 911.
