Fostering Excellence in Clinical Care
Dalhousie Psychiatry is committed to identifying and
promoting the highest standards of clinical practice.
Faculty members hold key positions in clinical programs
within institutions, provide consultation and assistance
to community-based mental health programs, work to
ensure that primary care physicians are equipped with
the knowledge and skills to identify mental illness,
and conduct research that ultimately leads to improved
treatment and outcomes for individuals with mental
illness.
